Phil has been a professional realtor for over 40 yrs and previously one of the top sales associates with RE/MAX Realtors. In 1992, Phil became the first recipient of the coveted RE/MAX international Hall of Fame award in Thousand Oaks, Calif. His real estate career has been founded on the uncompromising principal, ‘Always serve your clients’ interests first and foremost’. Phil has successfully closed over 850 real estate transactions. Phil graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Marketing in 1969.
Upon moving to Colorado from Southern California in 1993, Phil pursued the commercial and investment markets. In 1997, Phil co-founded New Vista Real Estate & Investment Company (NVREI) and was the creator and developer of both ‘American Storage’ and the ‘Brownstones at Prestwick Village’ (ref. Prestwick Townhomes). For ten years, NVREI was actively involved with investors and builders in both commercial and residential investment projects in Colorado Springs. Phil specializes in storage facility investments in Colorado and Texas.
Military: Phil is a retired Army artillery officer having served in Vietnam in 1967-68.
Phil’s work ethic and reputation for honesty, integrity and reliability have allowed him to be acknowledged as someone who can be implicitly relied upon and trusted in all of his business and personal engagements. In 1998, Phil served in a volunteer capacity on the Springs Community Action Plan (SCAP) with the Economy and Jobs task force. Additionally, he assisted with the follow-up efforts on the Coordinating Counsel of the Springs Community Action Network (SCAN) and the Springs Quality Growth planning committee.
Phil also had the distinction of serving as the chairman of the board of Life Network (formerly the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center) during his thirteen years of board involvement. During that period, Life Network envisioned and committed to engaging in an ambitious local/global vision to restore the sanctity of human life within Colorado Springs and beyond.
