Remember the housing crisis of 2008? It left a lasting impact and worry for many. But here's the good news – the current housing market is far from crashing! đŸ“‰

Experts like Business Insider and First American’s Chief Economist Mark Fleming assure us that a crash is unlikely. Unlike 2008, there's an undersupply of homes, not an oversupply. Even with recent inventory growth, we're nowhere near the levels that caused the previous crash.

Why No Crash?

Low Supply of Existing Homes: Even though more homeowners are selling, the overall supply is still low. Nationally, we're well below the 2008 levels.
Cautious New Home Construction: Builders are still catching up from the underbuilding of the past decade, avoiding the overbuilding seen before the last crash.
Fewer Distressed Properties: Tighter lending standards mean fewer foreclosures, drastically reducing the number of distressed properties.
What This Means for You:
With inventory levels remaining low, there's no sign of home prices dropping significantly. The laws of supply and demand are in our favor!
